Hotel Le Meridien, Gurgaon: My 5 days experience
A much-needed break from this unending Covid 19 Pandemic, me and my sister chose this hotel to treat ourselves to a 5-star experience.
The Plan – Planning was done a week before, we made a direct booking with the hotel (You can book from platforms like Make My Trip, Goibibo etc. They pretty much give you the same deal). The emails were responded fast and within two days we booked that. However, they did not give us any discount even in this time when hotels are running empty. 🙁
How to Reach?
You can reach via Flight/Rail/Bus.
It is located in Gurugram (formerly Gurgaon) and it is a 20-30 mins cab ride away from the IGI Airport New Delhi. If you are coming via rail, You can hop the metro (Yellow Line) from the New Delhi railway station and get off on Indigo Guru Dronacharya Station which is the closest metro station (approx. a kilometre from the hotel).
And So it Begins !!
We arrived at Indira Gandhi Airport about 10:30 AM, quickly collected our luggage (Hoof!) and as we came out, we were welcomed by the driver from the hotel. Swiftly, he took our luggage from us, put it on a trolley and took us towards the Taxi Stand which took like 2 minutes.
We got in the car fast and before starting, the driver was seeking permission to drive if we’re okay with our seats and ready for moving on the way to the hotel. Offering the water bottle adds more generosity of the driver inside the Cab.
A Warm welcome, an Express Check-in in a 5 Star !
Precautions in true time
In the COVID scenario, staffs are pro active in their role by constantly sanitizing the hands and monitoring via oximeter.
The Elevator and the corridor
As long as you are done with your check-in, you will have your key card in your hand which you can use in one of the elevators to take you to your rooms.
Beautiful & Cozy Room with a great view
Other Facilities in hotel
The Hotel has many other facilities like Spa, Salon, Gymnasium, and a pool that will keep you occupied, but unfortunately in this time of pandemic, almost everything is closed.
